We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and payroll processes, coupled with at least 1 year of professional experience. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, particularly in the areas of payroll processing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
KRA 1: General Accounting and Payroll
Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
General Accounting: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor invoice processing, payments, and reconciliation. Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reporting.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, as required.
KRA 2: Administration and Regulatory Compliance
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and summaries, including payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, and financial audits.
Employee Inquiries: Address employee questions and concerns regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions with a focus on providing clear and helpful information.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
